Recipe Ingredients for Scalloped Potatoes- Au Gratin

12 potatoes, medium,
6 tbsp butter
6 tbsp flour
3 tsp salt
4 cups milk
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Scalloped Potatoes- Au Gratin

  1. boil and peel potatoes. slice into 1/2 cm pieces.

  2. meanwhile, melt butter and stir in flour and salt, add pepper to taste.

  3. cook, stirring constantly until bubbly.

  4. Add milk gradually, until mixture is thick.

  5. Stir in 3/4 cup grated cheese. Stir in sliced potatoes.

  6. pour into casserole dish, top with remaining cheese.

  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. cheese should be crispy.
