Ann's adaptation of Campbell's Soup scalloped potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for Scalloped Potatoes a la Ann

4 medium russet potatoes, sliced
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 dash pepper

Recipe Directions for Scalloped Potatoes a la Ann

  1. Slice the potatoes, then rinse excess starch off of the slices. Place the slices in a gallon Zip-Loc bag and microwave on high for approximately 3 minutes. Allow the potatoes to cool.

  2. Combine the soup, milk, and pepper to make a sauce.

  3. In a 2 quart casserole, arrange the potatoes, onion and sauce in layers. Dot top with margarine or butter.

  4. Bake, covered in a 375F oven for 1 hour.

  5. Remove the cover and continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the potatoes are done.
