Recipe Ingredients for Scalloped Potatoes 89

705 g potatos, sliced
2 cup milk, 1%
4 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c onion, chopped
4 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Scalloped Potatoes 89

  1. For Sauce, in small saucepan stir together the milk, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Cook and stir over mediumheat til thickened and bubbly. REmove from heat, set aside.

  2. Lightly spray the sides of a 1 1/2 qt casserole with nonstick coating. Peel potatoes and slice very thin. Layer half of the potatoes andhalf of the ionion into the casserole. Repeat layers of potatoes and onions.

  3. Pour sauce over potatoe mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake, covered, in a 350 deg oven for 40 min.

  4. Uncover and bake for 10 - 15 minutes more or until potatoes are tender. Serves 4.
