Recipe Ingredients for Scallion Leek Rutabaga Potato Soup

2 scallions
2 leeks
2 bacon
1 rutabaga
6 mushrooms
32 oz. Chicken Broth
1 tbs. butter
1 tbs. olive oil
16 oz. water
1 cup potato
1 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Scallion Leek Rutabaga Potato Soup

  1. Saute leeks, scallions, mushrooms and bacon in EVOO and butter

  2. When soften add rutabaga and (potatoe if raw) and broth

  3. Add potato flakes, water and skim milk

  4. Add pepper to taste

  5. Cook on low for 30 minutes
