An hearty soup loaded with nutrients. can be made with only vegetables by omitting the turkey franks. This makes 10 one cup servings as the water cooks down during the simmering.

Recipe Ingredients for Savoy vegetable soup

12 oz Carrots
10 oz Cabbage, Savoy
1 []
1 cup, chopped Onions
1 cup, diced Celery
2 serving chicken bouillion cubes stop
2 serving Beef Boullion Cubes Stop
3 chopped Turkey Franks
1 cup diced Potatoes, Red, Flesh And Skin
1/2 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
1 tsp Parsley, Dried
1/4 tsp Poultry Seasoning

Recipe Directions for Savoy vegetable soup

  1. Place carrots in the water and bring to a boil

  2. Boil carrots to just before they get tender

  3. Add diced potato, onions, celery and seasoning.

  4. Add boullion cubes.

  5. Do not add any salt as the boullion cubes have enough salt already.

  6. You can add the turkey franks here or just omit them.

  7. Simmer until all vegetables are cooked.

  8. Add the cabbage last and allow to simmer covered for another 10 minuets.
