Recipe Ingredients for Savory Vegetables and Rice With Chicken

3.5 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
3 fillet Boneless Skinless Breast Fillets
1 small Onions
2 tbsp Olive Oil
0.12 stick Margarine, Regular, Hard
3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
6 oz Peppers and Onions
0.5 cup, shredded Swiss Cheese
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
5 leaves Basil, Fresh
1 tbsp Rosemary, Fresh
0.5 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Savory Vegetables and Rice With Chicken

  1. Put olive oil in pan. Add onions, celery, and rice. When rice begins to brown slightly, add the peppers and onions, spices and chopped chicken along with 1 cup water. Add additional water 1 cup at a time until a total of 4 cups have been added.

  2. When the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked, add margarine and swiss cheese. Heat on low until the cheese is melted.
