Recipe Ingredients for Savory Risotto

1/2 cup Fresh Mushrooms, chopped
1/4 cup Long Grain Rice
2 tbsp Long Grain Rice
1/4 cup Onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp Butter
1 cup Chicken Broth
1 tbsp Cooking Wine
1 1/2 tsp Grated Parmesan Cheese

Recipe Directions for Savory Risotto

  1. Chop Onion.

  2. Chop mushrooms.

  3. In a skillet, cook mushrooms, rice, and onion in butter over medium-low heat for 8-10 minutes or until onion is tender and rice is lightly toasted.

  4. Slowly and carefully add broth and wine to skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.

  5. Stir in cheese. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
