Recipe Ingredients for Savory Bean Burgers

1 1/2 cups black beans
1 1/2 cups red kidney beans
2/3 cups bread crumbs
2/3 cups gluten
2/3 cup onion
1/3 cup red pepper
1/3 cup green pepper
1/2 cup mushrooms
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 tsp paprika (smoked)
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbs gravy master
2 tbs olive oil

Recipe Directions for Savory Bean Burgers

  1. Preheat oven 375'

  2. Drain 1 can of black beans and 1 can of red kidney beans. Rinse well.

  3. Mash or put in food processor and blend until somewhat broken down but still has texture.

  4. Dice and cook the onion.

  5. Finely dice 1 sm can of mushrooms and the raw peppers.

  6. Add the remaining ingredients and knead for about 3 minutes.

  7. Form into 4" patties

  8. grease cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes

  9. Flip and bake for 10 min more.
