Recipe Ingredients for Savory Asian Patties

1 pound turkey breast, ground
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 onion, thinly sliced (substitute green onions)
1 egg white
4 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce (substitute teriyaki sauce)
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cooking spray

Recipe Directions for Savory Asian Patties

  1. Coat a small pan with cooking spray and saute onions and mushrooms until soft and slightly browned. Remove from heat.

  2. In a bowl combine turkey, garlic, ginger, cooked veggies, applesauce, and soy sauce.

  3. Score into 4 equal patties. Cook in a pan with cooking spray, broil, or grill until juices run clear.

  4. Serve bunless with rice and steamed veggies.
