16 ounces shrimp, peeled
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, diced

  1. melt butter in pan

  2. add sliced onions and garlic

  3. cook over medium heat until onions half tender

  4. add shrimp and sautee until cooked

  5. do not overcook
