fish fillets with a lime and white wine sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Sauteed Fish Fillets with Lime

1 lbs. fish fillets
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/3 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 green onions, chopped

Recipe Directions for Sauteed Fish Fillets with Lime

Coat fillets with flour, set aside. In a bowl, add the minced garlic, and lime juice to wine. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and the fillets, and cook fillets (do not overlap the fish) until golden on the bottom; turn over and cook about 1 minute more, until fish flakes easily with fork. Transfer fish to a boil, scraping up cooking bits from the bottom to the pan, until the liquid is reduced by half. Reduce the heat to low, stir in the onions and cook for about 30 seconds. Pour sauce over fish.
