Great, fresh recipe with gorgonzola and pine nuts.

Recipe Ingredients for Sauteed Asparagus

1 pound fresh asparagus, thin spears
1 T olive oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced
1/3 c Gorgonzola, crumbled
3 T pine nuts, toasted

Recipe Directions for Sauteed Asparagus

  1. Cut asparagus into 1-2 in pcs.

  2. Heat olive oil on medium. Saute garlic about 1 min (do not let it brown). Remove garlic and discard.

  3. Saute asparagus for about 5 min until barey soft and slightly brown.

  4. Toast pine nuts seperatly until barely brown.

  5. Turn off heat under asparagus. Sprinkle with cheese and let melt about half. Plate asparagus and sprinkle with pine nuts. Salt and pepper as desired.
