Asparagus and Mushrooms in a light butter sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Sauted Asparagus

10 3/4 ounce asparagus
1 gram garlic, minced
4 1/2 ounces onion, sliced
4 ounces mushrooms, quartered
15 grams butter
15 grams margarine

Recipe Directions for Sauted Asparagus

  1. Wash asparagus and cut end tips.

  2. Steam for about 5 minutes or until tender.

  3. In large skillet melt butter, add onion, garlic, and mushrooms.

  4. Saute until mushrooms are cooked and tender.

  5. Add steamed asparagus and toss until coated with butter sauce.

  6. Can also use all margarine for lower calories or any other butter substitute.
