Chicken Sausage, Butternut Squash and Brussels Sprouts with pasta ... great if mixed with spaghetti squash but I was out

Recipe Ingredients for sausage squash pasta

1 box farfalle
4 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup sage
5 links Organic Chicken and Apple Sausage
2 cups butternut squash
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
12 oz brussels sprouts
1/2 onion

Recipe Directions for sausage squash pasta

  1. I chop the squash and onions - and drizzle with olive oil, and mix of brown sugar, salt, pepper, and usually basil or oregano or something like that - spread on sheet tray (lined with foil) and put in the oven at 350.

  2. Trip and halve the brussels sprouts, drizzle or spray with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder - also spread on sheet tray and place in 350 oven.

  3. I boil the sausage to pre cook, then remove that and put the pasta in the same water.

  4. Chop the chicken and add to the squash and onions. Remove items as they reach desired done-ness, and mix together.

  5. Then chop the sage, throw the butter in a pan - brown butter throw in sage just at the end - pour over everything mix together.

  6. Sprinkle with a little sharp salty cheese like pecorino, romano, or parmesan.
