Recipe Ingredients for Sausage and rice

1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
2 clove Garlic
1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
6 medium Mushrooms
1 cup, chopped Broccoli
1 cup (8 fl oz) Soup, Chicken Broth Or Bouillon
1 1/4 cup White Rice
16 oz LEAN Hot Italian Sausage

Recipe Directions for Sausage and rice

dice medium onion, green pepper (1/2), 2 tsp crushed garlic. Sauté in large pan until onion transluscent. Dice 1 medium tomato and 6 mushrooms. Add to mixture. Chop broccoli (1 c.) into small pieces - add to mixture. Add broth (1 cup) and Minute rice (1 1/4 c). One pound of hot italian sausage cut into 1" pieces and fried in separate pan until cooked through. Add to the rice and veggie mixture. Cover and let simmer for about 30 to 40 minutes - until moisture is almost gone.
