Not bad... try low fat soup or turkey sausage for even less fat and cals.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Potato Casserole

15 oz. sausage
1 cup frozen peas
1/3 cup skim milk
21 oz. cream of mushroom soup (2 cans)
2 cups frozen hash browns
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 cup parmesean cheese

Recipe Directions for Sausage Potato Casserole

  1. Brown sausage, add to soup in a mixing bowl, along with milk and peas.

  2. Add onions to pan and carmelize, then add these to mixing bowl as well.

  3. Put potatos in bottom of sprayed casserole dish and mix with essence, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with heavy cream.

  4. Add sausage mixture over the top.

  5. Top with bread crumb and parmesean mixture.

  6. Bake at 375 till bubbly.
