Sausage, peppers, onions in pasta sauce - serve over noodles or rice

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage and Peppers

456 g pork sausage
133 g onion
168 g green pepper
445 g Crushed Tomatoes
680 g hunt's original tomato sauce
1 T italian seasoning
1 t garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Sausage and Peppers

  1. Cook pasta or rice as directed on package.

  2. Boil sausages for 10 minutes, then dice them and brown them in a deep frying pan (wok?). Remove from pan but keep warm.

  3. Add peppers and onions to frying pan and stir-fry them. Add spices. When done, return sausage to pan, and add tomatoes and pasta sauce.

  4. Simmer on low for 20+ minutes to blend flavours and reduce liquid slightly.

  5. Serve over pasta or rice.
