Very Flavorful dish that is not too high in calories. Easily prepared.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage and Peppers Blend w/ Brown Rice

1 cup brown rice
1/2 lb turkey sausage
1/2 lb sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chopped mushrooms
2 medium onion (chopped onion)
5 oz Green Pepper (strips)
5 oz Red Pepper (strips)
5 oz Yellow Pepper (strips)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup celery (choppped)
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Sausage and Peppers Blend w/ Brown Rice

  1. Cook rice according to package. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients; add the rice and sausage.

  2. Transfered to a greased 2 qt baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
