Cheesy pizza with sausage, peppers, and onions, but almost no carbs.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage & Pepper Pizza - Low-Carb

3 oz cream cheese
3 eggs
1 tsp rosemary, divided
1 tsp thyme, divided
1 tsp basil, divided
1 tsp oregano, divided
1 tsp Truvia
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp black pepper, divided
14 oz canned diced tomatoes
70 1 small onion
150 grams green bell pepper
165 grams spicy Italian chicken sausage
118 grams 2% colby jack shredded cheese
85 grams 2% shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Sausage & Pepper Pizza - Low-Carb

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

  2. Separate eggs into two bowls.

  3. Whip egg whites until fluffy, about 5 minutes.

  4. Beat egg yolks with cream cheese, herbs, salt, and Truvia.

  5. Fold yolk mixture gently into whites.

  6. Spread egg mixture over greased pizza pan evenly.

  7. Bake pizza "crust" for 20 minutes.

  8. While crust is baking, cook peppers, onions, and sausage, cut into chunks.

  9. Remove crust from oven and allow to cool completely.

  10. Cover crust with tomatoes.

  11. Add colby jack cheese, then sausage mix. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

  12. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and just browned.
