Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Pastry Bake

24 ounces breakfast sausage links
12 9/10 ounces hash brown potatoes
10 large eggs
1 medium onion
2 tablespoon margarine
4 ounces 2% cheddar cheese, shredded
4 ounces 2% swiss cheese, shredded
1 cup 2% milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
245 grams puff pastry

Recipe Directions for Sausage Pastry Bake

  1. Cook sausage. Cut into 1/4 inch slices. Saute hash browns and onions in margarine for 6-8 minutes, or until tender. Transfer hash browns and margarine to a sprayed 13 x 9 baking dish. Top with cooked sausage, cheese and parsley.

  2. In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over cheese.

  3. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle to fit pan. Place pastry over egg mixture. Brush with egg wash. Cut slit in top. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes or untill set and browwn.
