Sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms in a creamy tomato sauce for pasta.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Pasta Sauce

280 g Hot Italian Sausage
70 grams Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms Packaged
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 medium Green Bell Pepper
28 oz Sauce, Pasta, Spaghetti/marinara, Ready-to-serve
10 oz Yogurt
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola

Recipe Directions for Sausage Pasta Sauce

  1. Fry onion in tbsp of oil over medium heat.

  2. Cut sausage into small pieces and add to onion.

  3. Add chopped pepper and mushrooms. Cover.

  4. When vegetables are sweated, pour in pasta sauce.

  5. Add goat yogurt and stir.

  6. Simmer while cooking pasta.

  7. When pasta is done, plate and ladle sauce over pasta.
