I dislike low fat and fat free products as that isn't what the world is made of so I redid a popular recipe using full fat products and it came out with less calories and was tasty as heck! Good for breakfast lunch or dinner as a side.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Mushroom and Broccoli Quiche redux

6 oz egg whites
4 oz cheddar
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
3 tsp garlic
4 oz mushrooms
8 oz broccoli, chopped
4 oz bell pepper
6 ounces chicken, sausage

Recipe Directions for Sausage Mushroom and Broccoli Quiche redux

  1. Course chop sausage. Coarse chop mushrooms and broccoli and bell pepper and mince garlic. Toss sausage in skillet and saute. When beginning to slightly brown add garlic mushroom and bell pepper. When vegetable are soft turn off heat

  2. Mix egg whites, cheese, milk, flour. Add sausage mix.

  3. Pour into a greased 9" pie pan.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
