Goregous Sausage & Leek bake with potatoes & cheese topping. It is great trying it with different Finest Sausages. For example the ones with leek or any other types of sausage of your choice.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage & Leek Bake

3/4 pint Chicken Stock
454 g Sausages
2 Leeks
1 large Onion, diced
2 tbsp Chives
1 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
200 g Potatoes
50 g Cheese
1 Pepper

Recipe Directions for Sausage & Leek Bake

  1. Shallow fry sausages in a large pan until browned and put to one side on some kitchen towel to absorb the fat.

  2. Cut the potatoes into slices.

  3. Part boil the potatoes and put to one side.

  4. Then in a large pan fry the onions & Leekes until soft.

  5. Add the chicken stock.

  6. Stir in the flour to thicken.

  7. Add the chives, salt & pepper to taste.

  8. Cut up the sausages & add to the stock, leeks & onions.

  9. Bring to the boil.

  10. Transfer to a baking dish.

  11. Cover with a layer of potatoe slices.

  12. Sprinkle with cheese.

  13. Bake for 20-30 minutes on 190 degrees celcius.

  14. For a change you can use pototoe rosti for a different topping instead of potatoe slices.
