best made with herby sausages. I use Whicks mannor which have a very high meat content.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage hotpot (home made)

8 links
4 carrots
440 g baked beans
2 onions
1 tbs olive oil
440 g Tomatoes, Crushed, Canned
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tbs basil
1/2 pint beef stock
1 tbs olive oil

Recipe Directions for Sausage hotpot (home made)

  1. grill sauages untill lightly brown

  2. in a large pan heat oil and add oinions chopped. lightly fry untill soft

  3. Add carrotes (chopped) and gently cook

  4. Cut sausages into fours and add to pan, sitr for 2 minutes before adding stock and tomatoes

  5. heat gently for 5 minutes before adding worcestershire sauce and basil heat for another 5-10 minutes and add baked beans

  6. Heat and stor for 5 miunutes then serve
