Old-fashioned sausage gravy over biscuits. Not a health food, but a nice comfort food to be eaten on occasion.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Gravy (not a health dish)

1 pound bulk pork sausage
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/3 cups skim milk

Recipe Directions for Sausage Gravy (not a health dish)

  1. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain and pour grease back into the skillet. Add the flour, salt, and pepper; cook and stir until blended.

  2. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add sausage back into pan and stir.

  3. Serve over biscuits.
