Recipe Ingredients for Sausage & Garden Vegetable Pasta

14 oz sausage, turkey
2 bell peppers (orange, yellow, red), cut into strips
2 1/4 oz black olives
1 lb frozen peas
3 carrots, peeled & sliced
1 lb pasta, whole grain (penne or rotini)
1 c light Italian dressing
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp oregano

Recipe Directions for Sausage & Garden Vegetable Pasta

  1. Cook pasta.

  2. Cut up sausage and veggies.

  3. Saute sausage. After 5 minutes, add carrots and peas. After 3 minutes, add peppers and olives.

  4. When pasta is done, drain then mix with salad dressing, veggies, sausage together with garlic and oregano.

  5. Serve hot or cold.
