The Turkish dish, cevap, you can cook it on the grill, but you can also use the pan. Of course you serve it with the thick pita bread and tomato sauce or yogurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage (Ćevapi) on thick pita bread

400 g ground beef
350 g ground lamb
100 g onion
1 egg
30 g dry bread crumbs
2 pita bread

Recipe Directions for Sausage (Ćevapi) on thick pita bread

Put meat into a deeper bowl, add chopped onion, egg and bread, which you previously wet in 50 ml of water and drained. Add seasoning salt (Vegeta) and mix it. Form sausages and put them on the grill or in pan without oil. Warm the pita bread on top of the grilled or cooked sausages and serve with sliced onions, you can add sour cream on top of the sausage.
