Chili made with beef and sausage. Use a roll of breakfast sausage or equivalent weight of patties. Not ridiculously spicy but good for anyone.

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Chili

16 oz ground beef
16 oz sausage
1 green pepper
1/2 yellow onion
28 oz tomatoes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
8 oz tomato sauce
16 oz kidney beans
8 oz water

Recipe Directions for Sausage Chili

  1. Chop onion and green pepper then sautee.

  2. Brown ground beef and sausage and drain

  3. Combine all ingredients in pan and simmer at least 2 hours before serving
