Breakfast Cassrole I made for Marathon Monday

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage and Cheddar Breakfast Casserole

10 slices whole wheat bread
4 tbsp Brummel & Brown Spread
12 eggs
1 cup half-and-half
1 pound breakfast sausage
12 ounces cheddar cheese
1/2 onion
4 green onions
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper

Recipe Directions for Sausage and Cheddar Breakfast Casserole

  1. Sautee Onions and Green Onions

  2. Add breakfast sausage (removed from casing)

  3. butter a baking dish; lay bread over bottom of dish

  4. arrange sausage/onion mixture and grate cheddar over top.

  5. Whisk eggs and half-and-half together with salt and pepper.

  6. Pour egg mixture over dish.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 Minutes
