Easy make ahead breakfast casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage Breakfast Casserole

6 slices wheat bread
6 eggs
1 cup cheddar cheese
4 tbsp butter
2 cups 2% milk
1 green onions
1 lb sausage

Recipe Directions for Sausage Breakfast Casserole

  1. Butter both sides of bread and place in 9x13 baking dish.

  2. Place sausage that has been browned and drained on top of bread.

  3. Sprinkle cheese on top of Sausage.

  4. Mix eggs and milk together and pour over sausage, cheese and bread.

  5. Cut green onions and sprinkle on top.

  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 350.

  7. May be made 1-2 days ahead and placed in refrigerator.
