Sausage, Beer and Saurkraut Casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Sausage, Beer and Saurkraut Casserole

3 tbs butter
2 onions, diced
3 lbs sauerkraut, drained
2 lbs cooked kielbasa, pricked with a fork
2 strips bacon, cut into 1" pieces
1 tsp caraway seeds
1 cup beer

Recipe Directions for Sausage, Beer and Saurkraut Casserole

Combine butter and bacon in Denby covered casserole and microwave uncovered 1 minute on high, until butter is melted. Stir in onions and caraway seeds, microwave 5 minutes on high, until onions are soft. Add sauerkraut and beer - stir to separate sauerkraut. Cover and microwave 20 minutes on high, until most of the liquid is absorbed. Bury the kielbasa into the sauerkraut mixture, cover and microwave 15 minutes on high until kielbasa is hot.
