Lynne's Delicious Breakfast Casserole!

Recipe Ingredients for SAUSAGE BAKE

1/2 cup butter
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
6 slices french bread, cubed
2 tsp. dried basil
5 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 cups milk

Recipe Directions for SAUSAGE BAKE

Melt butter. Pour into 9" x 13" baking pan. Brown sausage and set aside. Layer half the cubed bread in baking pan and sprinkle with basil, dill and cheese. Sprinkle browned sausage over herbs and cheese. Layer rest of bread. Beat eggs well and add milk. Pour over contents of baking pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes, or until slightly browned. Let rest for 5 minutes. Cut into squares and serve hot.
