Recipe Ingredients for Saucy Pepper Steak - Kraft Canada

1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 red pepper, cut into strips
1 yellow pepper, cut into strips
1 small onion, sliced
1 lb. (450 g) boneless beef sirloin steak, trimmed, cut into strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3 tbsp. lite soy sauce
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
3 cups basmati rice

Recipe Directions for Saucy Pepper Steak - Kraft Canada

  1. HEAT large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add peppers and onions; cook and stir 6 to 8 min. or until crisp-tender. Transfer to large bowl; cover to keep warm.

  2. ADD meat, garlic and black pepper to skillet; cook and stir 3 min. Stir in soy sauce; cook 1 min. or until meat is done, stirring occasionally. Add barbecue sauce; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

  3. COMBINE meat mixture and vegetables. Serve over rice.
