A healthier alternative to sauces. I do like marinara but not on everyday items.

Recipe Ingredients for Sauce Option 1

2 tbsp I can't believe it's not butter
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 cup water
2 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Sauce Option 1

  1. Mix butter, flour and salt together to form rue.

  2. Add water to rue and mix until desired thickness.

  3. Add in garlic and bring to boil. Then allow to simmer on low heat for 10 minutes (careful not to burn).

  4. Serve over meat.
