This is the unhealthy version. Make it healthier by using egg white and limiting powdered sugar, margarine, and syrup. Yum!

Recipe Ingredients for Saturday French Toast

4 slice Nature's Own 100% Whole Wheat
3 medium Egg, Whole
0.33 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
3 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
2 tbsp 37% Light Buttery Spread
8 grams Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Original

Recipe Directions for Saturday French Toast

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.

  2. Drench 4 slices of bread in egg mixture. Cook each side on medium heat griddle until browned on both sides.

  3. Top with a small dollop of butter, tiny dusting of powdered sugar, and a drop of syrup.

  4. Enjoy with a warm mug of coffee or tea and a newspaper!
