Mincemeat rolls in cabbage leaves

Recipe Ingredients for Sarmale

700 g minced pork
350 g rice
200 g carrots, fine chopped
200 g bell peppers, fine chopped
100 g onions, fine chopped
150 g tomato paste
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp black pepper
3 tbsp parsley
1000 g cabbage, leaves

Recipe Directions for Sarmale

  1. put the ingredient together and mix well

  2. put the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 5-10 s

  3. take a leaf (or a half if is too big), put some of the filling and roll

  4. repeat till all the filling is over

  5. put the cabbage rolls in a pot, add water and boil for about an hour

  6. you can serve it wit yogurt or cream, if you like
