Recipe Ingredients for Sarmale Pepe

750 g pork mince
800 g cabbage
200 g rice
20 g dill
50 g onion

Recipe Directions for Sarmale Pepe

  1. The mince is mixed with the rice, the onion cut in small pieces, the dill, salt, pepper, and fresh thyme.

  2. One tablespoon of this mixture is rolled in each cabbage leaf.

  3. Some onion leaves are added on the bottom of a large pot. The cabbage rolls are put in the pot. Some salt, pepper, more fresh dill and thyme one cup of tomato sauce.

  4. They have to boil for one hour, and then stay in the oven for another 2-3 hours.
