Whole wheat pasta with vegetables and sardine tomato sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Sardine Veggie Pasta

8 oz raw mushrooms
8 oz whole wheat pasta
14 oz canned green beans
106 g sardines in Mustard Sauce
1 cup Water Chestnuts
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1/2 fl oz soy sauce
6 oz v8

Recipe Directions for Sardine Veggie Pasta

  1. Heat oven to 425. Roast vegetables of your choice for 10 min covered, along with soy sauce and/or vinegar.

  2. Bring water to a boil and uncover vegetables to roast an additional 10 minutes. Cook pasta 7-8 minutes, drain and return to pot to cook off excess water.

  3. Puree one can sardines in mustard with vegetable juice and desired seasoning. Combine vegetables, sauce, and pasta and heat a few minutes to thicken.
