Recipe Ingredients for Sara's Meatloaf

1 lb hamburger meat
1/2 cup skim milk
3/4 cup quick oats
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 large egg
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 onion, chopped

Recipe Directions for Sara's Meatloaf

  1. Mix the oatmeal, egg and milk in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Next add salt and garlic powder and stir.

  3. Fold the cheese and chopped onion into the mixture.

  4. Lastly add ground beef and squish with hands until thoroughly mixed.

  5. Split the mixture into six equal parts and shape into mini-loaves and place in a 9x13 baking dish.

  6. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

  7. To check, cut one in half to make sure there is no pink meat.
