Recipe Ingredients for Sarah's Shepherds Pie

1 lbs Beef, Top Sirloin
1 medium Onions
3 cups Cabbage
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Salt, Table
2 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Garlic Powder
4 cups Potatoes, Mashed, Dehydrated, Flakes
1 oz Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Sarah's Shepherds Pie

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 375 F. Prep 2 Qt glass baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. 2.Brown the ground beef in a large pan. Drain off fat.

  3. 3.Return browned beef to pan. Add garlic, onion and cabbage. Cook over Med heat untill onion and cabage are soft. Add salt and onion powder, mix well.

  4. 4.Place Meat and Veg mix into the 2 Qt baking dish. Spoon prepared mashed potates over the top, speading gentlely to completely cover the meat. Score mashed potatoes lightly to create slightly textured surface.

  5. 5.Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until mashed potatoe have a slight golden colour and the edges are begining to turn a golden brown.

  6. 6.Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese. Enjoy
