A delicious, made from scratch chicken noodle soup guaranteed to warm up any winter's day.

Recipe Ingredients for Sarah's Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

2 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
16 oz Noodles, Egg
2 cup, chopped Carrots
1.5 cup, diced Celery
1 cup, chopped Onions
2 tbsp Salt, Table
3 clove Garlic
1 tsp Pepper, Black
18 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Sarah's Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Combine whole chicken, water, garlic cloves, 1 stalk coarsely choppped celery, 1 coarsely chopped carrot, and 1/2 coarsely chopped onion in stock pot.

  2. Boil 2 hours until chicken is tender and falling off bone.

  3. Remove chicken from pot and strain the broth.

  4. Once chicken has cooled, debone and cut into bite sized pieces.

  5. Return chicken to broth and add the finely diced carrots, celery, and onion.

  6. Boil 1 hour or until vegetables reach desired tenderness.

  7. Add precooked egg noodles and serve.
