Spinach Salad with honeyed vinagrette

Recipe Ingredients for Sarah's Fresh Spinach Salad

3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sugar
1 clove garlic, mashed
1 pinch black pepper, ground
1 lb spinach leaves
1 orange
1/2 cup pecans, toasted

Recipe Directions for Sarah's Fresh Spinach Salad

  1. Whisk oil, lemon juice, honey, sugar, garlic and pepper together and set aside.

  2. Prepare spinach leaves by rinsing, drying, and cutting to bite-sized pieces. Add mandarine orange slices and toasted pecans to spinach leaves and toss with vinagrette just before serving.
