1/2 cup vidalia onion, chopped
6 tsp dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp rosemary, fresh

Recipe Directions for sam's mustard pork chops

  1. If time-baking:

  2. line pan with foil, leaving enough overlap to seal in chops when complete.

  3. Preheat oven to 350F.

  4. spray the foil with Pam spray.

  5. sprinkle the onions on the bottom of the pan.

  6. spread mustard on both sides of each chop and place on top of the onions.

  7. sprinkle each chop with rosemary, seal foil over chops.

  8. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes, or until done in the middle.

  9. For pan cooking:

  10. spray skillet with Pam, heat to medium - medium/high

  11. add onions to pan, saute with a little bit of water (2 tbsp)

  12. smear both sides of pork with mustard and place in pan with onions.

  13. sprinkle rosemary on top of chops, cover pan and simmer for 10 minutes; turn chops, recover, and heat for another 10 minutes or until cooked through. Add a little more water if necessary to keep onions from burning.
