Recipe Ingredients for Sambusaks

2 t yeast
2 c water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound margarine
8 cups flour
1 t anise
1 t vegetable oil
1/2 c scallions
1 pound ground beef
1 tsp garlic
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Sambusaks

  1. brown beef with onions and spices

  2. mix dough & let rise.

  3. fill a plum sized ball of dough (rolled out into circle) with 1 tsp - 1T beef

  4. fold over and press edges together

  5. bake or fry
