This is a typical south indian dish is prepared with various vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Sambar

1 cup lentil
2 tsp mtr sambar
150 grams vegetables
2 tbsp tamarind
1/2 tsp salt
500 ml water
2 tsp canola oil
1/4 tsp mustard

Recipe Directions for Sambar

  1. cook the lentil until soft

  2. Fry the vegetables in oil/mustard

  3. add water, tamarind, salt, sambar powder

  4. Boil until done
