Recipe Ingredients for Salt and Pepper Oven Fries

3 large baking potato
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon ground pepper

Recipe Directions for Salt and Pepper Oven Fries

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them lengthwise into 1/2-inch-wide planks, each plank cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch-wide strips.

  2. Place rack in top third of oven and preheat to 400F. Place potato strips on rimmed baking sheet.

  3. Drizzle with olive oil; toss to coat. Roast 25 minutes. Using spatula, turn chips over. Roast until tender and golden brown around edges, about 25 minutes longer.

  4. Mix salt, Cajun seasoning, pepper and sugar in small bowl. Sprinkle over chips.
