Recipe Ingredients for salsa roja

4 red peppers, toasted
1 garlic clove, toasted
3 medium tomatoes, roasted whole
1 slice of onion, raw
3 tsp vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for salsa roja

  1. toast 4 dried chiles de arbol in hot oil with the garlic

  2. remove them with the oil to the blender

  3. char the tomatoes in the hot pan and add to blender

  4. add a medium slice of onion to taste

  5. salt to taste

  6. blend to the desired consistency
