my own version of spanish rice adjusted over the years to fit the taste of my family

Recipe Ingredients for Salsa Rice

1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup jasmine rice
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chicken boullion
1 1/2 cup water
4 tbsp salsa
1/3 cup corn
1 tsp seasoned salt

Recipe Directions for Salsa Rice

  1. Sautee rice, onion, and garlic ion olive oil in sautee pan with a lid over medium high heat until rice turns opaque.

  2. Add water, chicken boullion, salsa, corn, and seasoned salt and stir to combine ingredients.

  3. Cover with lid and reduce heat to low.

  4. Cook undisturbed 15-20 minutes or until liquid has cooked out.

  5. Fluff rice with a fork and enjoy.
