This is a modified version of a Betty Crocker recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Salsa Chicken

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 oz chicken breasts
1 cup salsa

Recipe Directions for Salsa Chicken

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Sprinkle half of the cheese on the bottom of the dish. Salt and pepper both sides of chicken. Pour salsa over chicken.

  3. Bake 25-30 minutes or until chicken is a golden brown. Remove from oven and top with remainder of the cheese. Bake for another 5 min, or until cheese is melted.
