Hearty salmon pie w/ whole can of Rubinstein's Red Salmon, optional chunk of smoked thrown in.

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Pie

418 grams Red Rubinstein's Salmon
1 small chopped Onions
3 med potatoes Potatoes, Boiled
1/4 tsp savory summer herb
1/5 tsp Salt, Table
2 dash Pepper, Black
1 Crust
3 cup White Flour, Unbleached
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tsp Salt, Table
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 /3cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Salmon Pie

  1. Peel, dice and boil potato, pour off most of water

  2. Mash in salmon

  3. Add spices and mix thoroughly

  4. Make Pie crust and split in half.

  5. Pat half into pie shill, add filling

  6. Roll out other half and cover pie.

  7. Be sure to make fairly big steam holes as this crust is bready.

  8. Bake at 375f for about 40-50 min.
